As I am very fond of Japanese Mamma Mia! premieres, this time I visited Hiroshima Prefecture.
It takes around 5 hours from Tokyo to Hiroshima station by Shinkansen, so I desided to stay one night.
This place is famous for World Heritage sites, including Miyajima and the National Peace Memorial Hall for the atomic bomb victims.
I've never been there before. This was a great chance to visit some places of interest.
Hiroshima Mamma Mia! is performed at ALSOK HALL. It is not GEKIDAN SHIKI's own theatre.
Poeple here say it is one of the nicest theatres with great sound effects. I was really excited to hear that.
I also hoped that there was a orchestra bit.
As the show started, most audiences as well as me were astonished to find the casts!
Megumi Hamada played Donna!
She is a famous SHIKI actress who played the leading part in the musicals Beauty and the Beast, Lion King, Aida and Wikid.
One more amazing thing is that Yoichiro Akutsu Played Sam!
He also plays the leading part lately. We remember well that he first played Sky eight years ago, in Tokyo version of Mamma Mia!
Hiroshima Mamma Mia! will be performed till July 11th, It would be 50 times show at present. And then will move to Shizuoka and Sendai.
